About Jook-Am

Jook-Am is rooted in the philosophy of Grand Master Jung Tae Park (1943–2002) — bamboo rising straight with roots set deep in stone. To him, bamboo symbolized resilience, humility, and the strength to stand tall through adversity. “Jook-Am,” meaning bamboo in stone, was the name he chose to represent his ideals: resilience rooted in principle, growth through struggle, and harmony between strength and grace.

Our mission is to carry that spirit forward. Every design reflects the legacy of Grand Master Park — blending philosophy, art, and the timeless teachings he lived by. Jook-Am isn’t just about apparel; it’s about honoring a lineage, embracing discipline, and wearing a reminder of the values that shape us.
